It is hard to believe, but Moore Dental at Lewis Center is celebrating the 4th year anniversary of our practice this month! Over that time, we have treated 1,966 patients over 8,780 dental appointments. That’s a lot of teeth! I want to extend my gratitude to each and every patient who has chosen to trust us with their care. I promise to continue with the same focus on quality dental care,the highest of customer service standards and an emphasis on serving the community that we are so proud to call home.
Coinciding with our 4th year practice anniversary, I’m excited to announce our next community-minded program. Each month, we will be featuring a different local business in what we’re calling our “Small Business Spotlight.” My hope is to help other small businesses grow, introduce these amazing establishments to our patients and support our local community. We will share each "Small Business Spotlight" using our social media pages and our monthly newsletter. We see this as a fun way to network with local entrepreneurs and tell our patients how these amazing individuals are supporting the Lewis Center area.
Our first “Small Business Spotlight” features Optimal Eye Care, our neighbor in the Olentangy Crossings shopping center. I am proud to say that my entire family enjoys the gentle care that Optimal Eye Care provides. I was amazed that Dr. Engler was able to perform eye exams on my children even before their first birthday! She describes her practice, saying, “Our excellent customer service and patient-centered atmosphere is where patients become family. Our equipment is state of the art and our doctors provide the highest quality of care. We have over 1,200 of the most fashionable and high quality frames in our Optical Boutique. Our Licensed Opticians with over 20 years’ experience manufacture most lenses in our in-house laboratory.” Dr. Engler is an active member of our community, including volunteering for Special Olympics, iSEE (eye exams for students) and sponsors many Olentangy sports programs. I am proud to support Optimal Eye Care in our first ever “Small Business Spotlight.”
Over the past four years, there are many things for me to be proud of when I walk into our beautiful practice every day. What I find myself being most proud of is our involvement in our community. I believe that local, small businesses are the engines of the neighborhood to which they belong. To help a community thrive, I believe the residents need to support local, small businesses. I hope to use our “Small Business Spotlight” to work in partnership with other business owners to continuously improve the lives of those that we serve in Lewis Center.
