My grandparents had such an overwhelming influence on me as a child. They continue to make an impact on the decisions my family and I make to this day. I grew up in a small town called Clyde, near Sandusky and Fremont, Ohio. Clyde is a safe and happy place to raise children with quiet streets and good schools. Both of my parents and all four of my grandparents still live in Clyde today. Growing up, I could ride my bike from my house to either of my grandparents' houses. I loved visiting and I spent an incredible amount of time with them. All four of them have always served as important role models to me and my wife and we wanted the same for our daughter, Clare.
After serving four years in the Navy as a dental officer, my wife, Katie, and I had the biggest decision of our young lives ahead of us. Our next step would impact where and how our growing family would live. We entertained impressive offers from the Navy to live all around the world. We also had friends with successful practices across the country that provided us with plenty of tempting opportunities. In the end, we decided to leave the sunny weather of North Carolina and move to central Ohio to be near family. My wife is from Worthington, so the opportunity to own a practice between Columbus and my hometown was absolutely ideal.
Lewis Center contains the perfect mix of families that share our values. The growing population and close proximity to our families are qualities both our small practice and our young family needs. Our daughter will grow up spending time with all of her grandparents, just as Katie and I did. Our grandparents had such an influence on Katie and I throughout our childhood that we wanted to provide Clare with the same opportunity. We look forward to spending the rest of our lives serving this wonderful community and could not be more excited for what Lewis Center has to offer for our young family.
Cheers to dental health,
