Electric toothbrushes
Sonicare 3 Series- My recommended model for adults has been shown to improve gum health and remove up to six times more plaque along the gum line when compared to a manual toothbrush. Every patient of mine who switches to an electric toothbrush has a visible reduction in plaque buildup and marked increase in oral health. This is the toothbrush that I use twice a day, every day!
Sonicare for Kids- This model has the same plaque reducing qualities as the adult Sonicare model, but with additional fun features. Included are eight interchangeable fun handle stickers and built-in Bluetooth technology that connects to a free interactive brushing app that makes brushing fun for kids. This is the toothbrush that I use on my daughter (yes, twice a day, every day)!
Water flossers
Waterpik Aquarius- Water flossers are clinically proven to be more effective that traditional string floss for reducing plaque, gingivitis and gum disease. These devices are perfect for anyone with braces, implants, bridges, crowns or veneers. This is the more advanced model and contains seven tips and more features than the cordless model.
Waterpik Cordless- This model is portable and rechargeable, which makes it more portable and convenient for patients who travel often. I recommend that every patient with a fixed retainer should have a Sonicare toothbrush and a water flosser.
Toothpaste and Mouth Rinse
CariFree CTx3 Gel- Simply put, it’s the world’s best toothpaste! This is a non-abrasive toothpaste that does an incredible job at neutralizing acids in the mouth and strengthening tooth structure.
CariFree CTx3 Fluoride Rinse- This is the best mouth rinse for fighting cavities, neutralizing decay and acids, providing fluoride for remineralization and maintaining long-term oral health.
ACT Anti-Cavity Kids Rinse- This kids rinse has been proven effective in reducing children’s cavities up to 40% more than brushing with a fluoride toothpaste alone. Plus, it has a great bubblegum flavor that kids love!
Biotene Dry Mouth Rinse- This mouth rinse helps soothe tissues for patients with dry mouth symptoms by neutralizing acids and moisturizing. Each application can last up to four hours.
Gum Care
Proxabrushes and Soft Picks- These interdental cleaners are clinically designed to clean areas that are difficult to floss, such as large spaces between teeth and around bridges, implants, retainers and braces.
